WooCommerce

WooCommerce is undoubtedly one of the best eCommerce plugins for WordPress, now powering more than 42% of all online stores. WooCommerce gives both store owners and developers complete control of their eCommerce site, which is just one reason why WooCommerce is our first-choice eCommerce solution.

If you don’t want to sell downloads or physical products on your site, WooCommerce also offers a Bookings extension, allowing your customers to book and pay for appointments, services, rooms or rentals online.

LearnDash

LearnDash is premium WordPress plugin that is used to create and sell online courses. You can deliver quizzes, award certificates, manage users and download reports.

LearnDash requires a annual support/subscription fee.

ExchangeWP

ExchangeWP (formerly iThemes Exchange) is a simple eCommerce solution. It does not offer all the options that you will get from WordPress plugins, such as WooCommerce. However if you're only offering a few products on your store, then ExchangeWP may be all you need to your eCommerce site get up and running.

ExchangeWP supports the purchase of digital downloads and physical goods, as well as a paid membership/subscription add-on.

WP Simple Pay

With WP Simple Pay you can accept one-time and recurring payments via Stripe on your WordPress site without setting up a shopping cart. 

WP Simple Pay requires a yearly subscription/support fee as well as a Stripe account.

Easy Digital Downloads

Easy Digital Downloads is a WordPress plugin that allows you to easily sell digital downloads online. Because it is a plugin that integrates with WordPress, like WooCommerce and ExchangeWP, you manage your store through one interface — the WordPress dashboard.

Easy Digital Downloads is popular for it's ease of use, and sheer volume of available extensions.

Bookeo

Bookeo is a subscription based platform that is used to show a calendar of available booking dates and take payment for activities, courses or classes. 

Unlike the WooCommerce or ExchangeWP plugins, Bookeo is does not operate via the WordPress dashboard, it is standalone software that can be integrated into WordPress, allowing you to easily embed a Bookeo based eCommerce site directly into your WordPress site.

Checkfront

Checkfront makes it easy to manage and provide and online booking system to your customers. Checkfront works great for businesses that accept bookings in daily, nightly or hourly allotments. Such as tour operators, activities, rentals or accommodation agents. 

Checkfront requires a monthly subscription/support fee as well as a payment account such as Stripe.

Payment Systems

Stripe and PayPal are our recommended and preferred eCommerce payment systems for your site. If you would like to integrate a Merchant Account with your eCommerce site, we can discuss the pros and cons of accepting payments via this method, and integrate your chosen system accordingly.
